Plastic products do not pollute per se.

🗓 2 Apr, 2024

PLASTIC WASTE, not recycled, is dirty and polluting.

Recycled PLASTIC PRODUCTS are used to make new products

“We live surrounded by plastics. It is a material that has enabled the development of humanity in the last 100 years, and let’s be honest, it has been spectacular. The problem is that it has also made the planet dirty day by day. This means that, once it is discarded, it remains practically unchanged, contaminating water, land and, apparently according to a recently published study, also the air.”

Irreplaceable plastic products:

Currently there are many plastic products that make our lives easier and that cannot be produced with other technologies.

Waste that dirty and pollute:

.- Uncontrolled burning of plastic, which generates large amounts of chloride, which pollutes the air

.-Plastic dumping in the oceans “An average of 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans every year, this is equivalent to emptying a garbage truck full of plastics every minute. If we do not change the trend, in 2025 our oceans will have 1 ton of plastic for every 3 tons of fish, and in 2050 there will be more plastic than fish”

.-Uncontrolled dumping in rivers, seas, oceans, land, “Plastic in the environment is fragmented into increasingly tiny pieces that attract and accumulate toxic substances. The presence of toxins in animal life, flora and natural reserves that end up being consumed by humans is more than evident.”

.- All waste not recycled correctly

100% recycled plastic waste

If we recover plastic products and crush them, new plastic products can be produced, with 100% utilization if we select the type of plastic well. THIS IS THE WAY TO FOLLOW:

Sustainability – circular economy – All this possible through ecodesign
